The moderately difficult hike leads along low-traffic asphalt roads of class III through the picturesque landscape of the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area.
Length of route (shorter circuit): 25 km
Length of route (longer circuit): 52 km
On the route you can enjoy romantic views, admire folk architecture and also visit the Houska Castle. If you feel like a longer tour, you can take a trip from Houska further to Kokořín Castle. We recommend a trekking or mountain bike.
Route of the shorter circuit: Doksy - Obora - Okna - Žďár - Kruh - Houska - Blatce - Ždírec - Tachov - Doksy (cca 25 km)
Route of the longer circuit: Doksy - Obora - Okna - Žďár - Kruh - Houska - Tubož - Ráj - Kokořín - Dobřeň - Střezivojice - Blatce - Ždírec - Tachov - Doksy (cca 52 km)
