In the depot building, visitors can visit a period-equipped transport office, see a model railway track, a showcase with interesting railway artefacts or try their hand at being a driver on a driving simulator.

The buildings on the premises date back to the 1930s and are currently used by the Kolej-Klub z.s. and the Club of Friends of the Bohemian Paradise Railways z.s. for the storage, repair and maintenance of historic railway vehicles. For example, steam trains of historical journeys in the region are dispatched from here.

The depot is open to visitors on announced dates (e.g. in mid-June during the Museum Weekend and other events). In the future, the opening of a museum of railway technology is planned.

In March 2021, the "Turnov Locomotive Depot" was declared a cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture.The depot is located west of the main railway station Turnov. There are historical railway vehicles, signalling equipment, a circular locomotive draw, a railway turntable and a narrow gauge railway in operation during events.
