Nedvězí is a hill formed by volcanic phonolite rock, standing 458 meters above sea level. It offers an outstanding panoramic view and rises above the recreational hamlet of the same name, known for its well-preserved examples of traditional folk architecture—timber-framed cottages with underbuilt arcades, and occasionally half-timbered houses.
In clear weather, the summit offers a 360-degree view, considered one of the most spectacular in the region. From the top of Nedvězí, you can see about a third of Bohemia—including the Ještěd Ridge, the Jizera and Lusatian Mountains, the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains), the Central Bohemian Uplands (České středohoří), and even parts of the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory).
The hill is accessible via marked hiking trails—for example, a green trail from Dubá (approximately 7 km), or a shorter 4.2 km walk from the bus stop at Dubá – Zakšín.

In the surroundings of Nedvězí, you’ll find several striking sandstone formations. The most prominent is The Tower near Nedvězí, located near Ludvíkův Hřeben. This formation is made of iron-cemented sandstone, and nearby stands a memorial to climbers.
An old rock path from Dražejov, which branches off from the current road, winds through a heath-covered landscape among pine trees. It leads to a stone platform known as Řipská vyhlídka, from which you can also enjoy beautiful views over the forested countryside.
