Martinské stěny (The Martin Walls) has been a protected natural monument since 2002. The protection covers an area of 3.18 hectares at an altitude of 390 to 420 m above sea level and was declared because of several species of invertebrates living on the heaths and lichens. It is particularly interesting for its unusual sandstone formation. The wall is sloping, relatively compact and only scarred on the surface by pseudoscrapers.
Martinské Stěny (The Martin Walls) can be easily reached from Dřevčice by a shortcut along the "Old Goose Path" (separate chapter) or by a longer route along the green and then the red hiking trail on the so-called Goose Path, which is part of a very attractive circuit for mountain bikes (cycle path 058). If you go by train, it is easiest to get off in Blíževedle, about 5 km away from Martinské stěny.
