The lower wooden lookout tower is located in the local part of the village of Sychrov - Vrchovina. The lookout tower made of larch wood was designed by Mr. Martin Kloda on the basis of the assignment - a viewing platform, accessible to the elderly and children.
The lookout tower was inspired by hunting sessions in the area and the construction of the tower started in October 2015.
The total height of the tower is only 6 metres and has 25 steps, yet it provides a beautiful view of the nearby Javorník hill, Ještěd, Trosky, Bezděz, the airport in Hodkovice nad Mohelkou...
The lookout tower is a private building, which stands on private land in the Relax Zone, but it is publicly accessible and free of charge (subject to the operating rules).
In winter, the path to the tower is not maintained, visitors should take extra care.
