If you like fairy tales, be sure to go on this bicycle trip, which you can start with a tour of the unique Renaissance complex - the Staré Hrady Castle and Chateau. Originally a Gothic castle with the manuscript of the Petroparléřská hut, to which a Renaissance chateau was added, today it is inhabited by fairy-tale creatures with whom you will enjoy a lot of fun and surprises.
After the tour, continue along the cycle path, towards Libáň. Here you will see the Baroque Church of the Holy Spirit, where a rare Baroque organ has been preserved. The symbol of the town is the Libáňská pine tree, a more than three hundred year old monumental tree above the town.
You can also visit the unique Dětenice Chateau Resort on cycle route 4368. In the castle you will be amazed by the preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque frescoes, wall paintings and Rococo and Classicist stucco decorations. For example, the movie fairy tale Řachanda was filmed here.
After visiting the chateau, continue along cycle route 4368 and then follow the red trail around Pilský Pond towards Psinice, where you will find the Baroque rebuilt church of St. George with a wooden bell tower from 1600. From there, head back to Libáň and take the same route to Staré Hrady.

A monumental forest pine tree, over three hundred years old, which is about 14 m high and has a trunk circumference of about 320 cm.
