The unique Romanesque Church of St. Nicholas was built in approx. 1240. The atypical ground-plan of the small sacred building is square-shaped. The square body ends in a shuttered tower with a tent-style roof. The Church is built of large hewn blocks. Below the roof, it ends in a typical Romanesque arched frieze. With regard to the exterior elements, the richly decorated portal is very interesting. Its columns bear an arched tympanum with relief decoration. The interior is complemented with a wooden ceiling. Installations and paintings on the vaulted apse date back to the pseudo-Romanesque purist alteration of 1886. (The building can be viewed upon request to the caretaker residing in a house in the area).
