This small village belongs to Březovice village, 1 km to the west. The first written mention of Víska dates back to 1400.
In 1995, Víska was declared a conservation area due to its folk architecture.
Wenzel Kumer, famous North Bohemian bandit leader, was born in Víska on 7 September 1767 and later imprisoned in Špilberk (he is also referred to as Václav Kumr in Czech). In 1842, he returned to Víska where he died a pauper on 6 March 1843, behind the stove in farmer Šafránek's house (No. 3). According to many literature researchers, he was the inspiration for Karel Hynek Mácha in his creation of the "Terrible Forest Master" in Máj.
